7. You slow 25 fps footage down to 40% speed and it looks jerky. Which Time Interpolation setting creates new in-between frames?

Answer: Optical Flow. Optical Flow analyses motion and builds new frames. Frame Sampling repeats frames and Frame Blending mixes them.

8. Which tool shifts the content inside a clip without moving the clip on the timeline?

Answer: Slip (Y). Slip changes which part of the source is used while the clip keeps its place and length. Slide moves the clip itself.

Answer: Rate Stretch (R). Rate Stretch speeds up or slows down a clip to fit the length you drag it to — useful to fit footage to music.

10. Which keyframe interpolation gives a smooth start and stop to a movement?

Answer: Ease In / Ease Out. Ease In and Ease Out slow the motion near the keyframes, so it starts and stops smoothly. Linear moves at a constant speed.
